01 Who we are

This website is owned and operated by FAID LTD, a company registered in England & Wales.

If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, email us at the address above and we'll respond within 30 days.

02 What information we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data needed to run the site securely.

Information you give us

When you submit our consultation / booking form, we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your company / brand name
• Your budget range and services of interest
• Your project details and preferred timeline (anything you type into the message field)

When you join our waiting list, we collect only your email address.

Information we collect automatically

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data for security and reliability — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is standard server-log data and is not used to personally identify or profile you.

Businesses we research for outreach

As part of our own marketing, we research local businesses that may benefit from our services and sometimes contact them to introduce ourselves. For this we collect only publicly available information about businesses — from sources such as a business's own website, its public social-media profiles, Google Business listings and public directories. This may include:

• The business name, address and area
• A publicly listed business phone, email or social-media handle
• The owner or manager's name, where it is publicly associated with the business
• Publicly visible information about their online presence (for example whether they have a website, and their public reviews)

We only gather information that is already public and relates to a business. We do not buy marketing lists, and we do not collect private or sensitive personal data this way. If we contact you and you'd prefer we didn't, just tell us and we'll stop and delete your details (see Your rights).

03 How & why we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

• Respond to your enquiry and discuss working together
• Prepare proposals, quotes and contracts for projects
• Deliver the services you've engaged us for
• Send you the confirmation email for a booking or waiting-list signup
• Notify you when waiting-list places open (if you joined the list)
• Keep our site secure and prevent spam or abuse of our forms

We will never sell your data, and we won't send you unrelated marketing without your consent.

04 Our lawful basis for using your data

Under UK GDPR we must have a valid legal reason ("lawful basis") to process your data. Depending on the situation, we rely on:

• Consent — for joining the waiting list and receiving emails from us. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Taking steps to enter a contract — when you ask us for a quote or to begin a project.
• Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, run our business, and protect our website from spam and abuse. We balance this against your rights.
• Legitimate interests (business-to-business outreach) — to identify local businesses that may benefit from our services and to contact them, using only publicly available business information. We have weighed this against the rights of the people concerned, keep our outreach relevant and occasional, and you can object or ask us to stop at any time (see Your rights).
• Legal obligation — where we're required to keep certain records (e.g. for tax or accounting).

05 Who we share your information with

We don't sell or rent your data. We do use a small number of trusted third-party providers ("data processors") to run the site and respond to you. Each only handles data on our instructions:

06 International data transfers

Some of our providers (such as Netlify and Resend) are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred and stored outside the UK. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or equivalent Standard Contractual Clauses — so your data receives the same level of protection as it would in the UK.

07 How long we keep your information

We keep your data only as long as we need it:

• Enquiries that don't become projects — up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
• Clients — for the duration of our working relationship, plus any period we're legally required to keep records (e.g. up to 6 years for financial records).
• Waiting-list signups — until you unsubscribe or we no longer operate the list.
• Businesses we research for outreach — kept only while a business is a potential prospect, and deleted within 12 months if we haven't begun a conversation (or sooner on request).

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see Your rights).

08 Cookies & tracking

At present, this website does not use any advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. We don't run a Meta Pixel, Google Analytics or similar profiling tools, and we don't track your activity across other websites.

Only strictly necessary technical data (such as standard server logs) is processed to keep the site secure and working.

09 How we protect your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data safe, including:

• Serving the entire site over encrypted HTTPS
• Validating and sanitising all form input on the server
• Rate-limiting and spam protection on our forms to prevent abuse
• Restricting access to submitted data to authorised people only

No method of transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data and review our measures regularly.

10 Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Be informed — about how your data is used (this policy)
• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data
• Data portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Object — object to certain types of processing
• Withdraw consent — at any time, where we rely on consent

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we work or in the law. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on the website.
